Full Metal Jacket

Exposition:
In this movie the exposition would be the scene in the bunks where all the marines are being yelled at by Sgt. Hartman. In this scene the main characters are introduced, such as "the joker" and  "the cowboy".
Also explains us that they are soldiers and they are being trained for the war.
Rising Action:
When Pyle kills the sarge and himself, which is also the part where the first part of the story ends.
Complication:
When they get to the point where they are  being attacked by the sniper. Not only where they  in a stressful situation, but also they where being killed one by one and they couldn't do anything about it.
Climax:
When they start to hunt the sniper down in the buildings. The reason for this is that you don't know wether the sniper is able to see them or not and also where she's hiding.
Falling Action:
When they finally find the sniper by "the joker" and one of his partners wounds her.
Moment of last suspense:
When "the joker" is deciding wether or not to kill the girl that killed his friends. This part gives one last tense moment in the film because of the expectation it causes.
Denouement:
The soldiers finally get to the river, which was the main objective, and their problems finally get solved.
